The Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust’s annual Party for the Parks brought together community leaders, park advocates, public officials, and supporters for an evening celebrating the power of parks, green space, and community stewardship across Los Angeles. Held on June 4, 2026, at Unidad Park in Historic Filipinotown, the event honored several outstanding leaders and organizations advancing park equity and environmental justice throughout Los Angeles.
Among the honorees was the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks Park Needs Assessment Team, represented by City staff and the consultant team, including TRG, OLIN, Estolano Advisors, and Agency Artifact, who accepted their honor alongside fellow honorees including Nature for All and Rosie Lee Hooks, Director of the Watts Towers Arts Center Campus.
