The City of West Hollywood held a rally with Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath, Third District, the All on Board Coalition, and the West Hollywood Advocates for Metro Rail (WHAM) at West Hollywood Park on Thursday, February 12 at 8 A.M. to rally the community in support of the proposed San-Vicente Fairfax route.

On Thursday, February 12 at 8 a.m., elected transit leaders, Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath, Third District, the All on Board Coalition, and the West Hollywood Advocates for Metro Rail (WHAM), and local West Hollywood residents gathered at West Hollywood Park to show support for the San Vicente-Fairfax extension route of the Metro K Line.

The San-Vicente Fairfax route would see West Hollywood with three stations within the city, and a fourth near North La Cienega Boulevard and Beverly Boulevard. This alignment would serve all the major destinations and job centers in Mid City Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and Hollywood with direct access to more jobs, arts, entertainment, dining, and nightlife.

The Metro Board is expected to make a decision on the final route in the coming weeks. For more information about the K Line Northern Extension visit weho.org/metro.
