“This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to connect West Hollywood with the rest of the region. The K Line North will allow you to catch a flight at LAX, watch a game at a regional stadium, shop at the Grove, or celebrate in the Rainbow District in West Hollywood. The route will provide an easy commute for those who work in the Miracle Mile or at Cedars-Sinai Hospital,” said City of West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman. The San Vicente-Fairfax route will add 110,000 jobs withing a half-mile of the new Metro stations with connections to four other rail lines and 6 out of the 10 busiest Metro bus lines.

The final route decision is expected to go to the Metro Board of Directors in the coming weeks.
